Gorilla Nuts Have Arrived!

Our long awaited introduction of Gorilla Nuts is now underway! It marks an entirely new wave of patented, comfortable twist-ons that King is offering into the traditional electrical channel of distribution.

King’s approach, while it appears rather conventional, is anything but. Gorilla Nuts is the latest in a series of out of the box innovative products. Starting with the problem, twist on connectors have been very uncomfortable to install for decades, King engineering department began an extensive search to change the feel. More comfort, more torque, better connection with less effort! That’s value!

For over two decades now King Innovation has had the unusual opportunity to add value in most of our relationships. The return on adding value to other people’s lives is nearly immeasurable. We are so grateful to have the opportunity to innovate. Taking a small niche and spending more time in it than any other party brings enormous results. Each of us here at King has participated and witnessed the innovation process. It makes me so happy to see lives changing, both inside at King those we effect outside of King, in such a positive way.

End of Year Thoughts

I can’t believe another year is nearly past! And while this economy is affecting all of us, there are some very interesting things happening. Recently, the dollar dropped against the euro and yen, and gold struck an all-time peak. Things are tough right now for sure.

Over the years, I have recognized that often when we’re challenged and pushed hard beyond our comfort zone, some people will come up with incredibly creative solutions. The solutions these days are often associated with creative financing and being able to just keep our heads above water. Others find the passion inside that has been suppressed and yearning to get out! While for some this economy is discouraging and very hard emotionally, it can become the catalysis that changes lives forever. So while some of the world is focusing on the lack luster numbers, others of you are in the midst of the best moments of your lives!!!

Here at King we use the energy that is often only experienced under stress to create innovative solutions that benefit our loyal customers. From a long list of successful problem solving ideas including the King Drain, DryConn Connectors, Leak B Gone and soon another line of changed up connectors we drive hard to listen and respond.

This is a great time for us all to communicate. All of us here at King send our thanks for another year of serving, you our customers, and we look forward to hearing from you and how we can continue to serve you better.

How AlumiConn Came to Be

Even though we invented the twist-on technology that others have used to seemingly solve the aluminum/copper problem throughout the country, we felt there had to be a better way to provide the safest possible connection.

So we started with a blank sheet of paper and engineered a whole new design that separates the dissimilar metals and comes pre-filled with an antioxidant sealant. We called this new design, AlumiConn (short for “aluminum connectors”).
